Welcome to ourtv, a television channel dedicated to showing artists’ films. This three-week programme is brought to you in conjunction with +44141 Gallery and is a proposal for broadcast. The films in this series were chosen for their challenge to the language of television, perceptions, reading, advertising and the influence of the underground. ‘Series 2’ is the second part of an ongoing project, which screens artist’s films for the duration of an exhibition. Taking the form of a programmed video reel ‘Series 1’ was broadcast in the guest space of Lothringer 13, Munich, for one week, from the 15th December 2009. The first ‘Interlude’ took place at Moot Gallery Nottingham Thursday 22nd April 2010. Now you are invited to come and view ‘Series 2’.
