English hip-hop artist Loyle Carner headlines SWG3 Galvanizers Yard on Thursday 15 August 2024.

With his languid, and confessional blend of rap, Carner has become one of the biggest names in contemporary hip-hop and rap. Having supported the legendary MF Doom in his first ever official gig, he was quickly thrust into the limelight, where he has firmly remained ever since. His debut album Yesterday's Gone, released in 2017, earned him a Mercury Prize nomination – something he repeated in early 2023, when he released his third full-length effort, Hugo. Raw, open, and vulnerable in nature, the South London MC has displayed immense emotional intelligence and lyrical wizardry as one of modern UK hip-hop’s most distinctive voices, tackling his personal politics, his family, masculinity, pain and more through his lyrics, which often sit on instrumental beds containing elements of jazz, lo-fi, and traditional hip-hop.

This event is strictly 14+. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. One adult can attend with a maximum of two Under 16s.
